The new mechanical division - MecaProtoSwiss (MPS) - of leman Avionics is the result of the merger of P.Widmer into Leman as of July 2009. P.Widmer has been a long term supplier of precision micro components used in avionic altimeter counters manufactured by Leman Avionics.
Having worked together for several decades, the new division assures Leman continuous supply of precision components used in avionics altimeter counters, as well expanding into other markets requiring micro, mini and medium machined metal and composite components.
Specific MPS activities include :
- Feasibility studies of new products and inventions
- Prototyping of special low volume mechanical components
- Machining of micro, mini and medium metal and composite components.
- Sub-assemblies of in house manufactured parts with components supplied by customers
